Tricks of Bird Photography

• Look out for a bird near a puddle of water
• Approach it slowly, depending on how much time you want to waste :-)... with a wide-angle lens... I used Tokina 11-16mm f2.8... even Sigma 10-20 or Nikon 12-24 would do well...
• Click as you go closer and do this till the bird gets exasperated by you and flies away
• Come back home, and crop the image in Adobe Photoshop

To get a good bird photograph... DO NOT follow the above steps... LOL
