Nannaj memories
It is nearly a year I visited Nannaj grasslands to watch the Great Indian Bustards. It had rained just the previous night and a flock of GIBs had flown in. Found it difficult to take images of GIBs and blackbucks. It was a different situation, sitting inside the hut looking all around for the birds.
Posting some of the images here. Though these images are not good in image quality, they appear to have a different aspect, and they appeal to me more than some of the very good images I have digiscoped.

I am impressed with the details seen on the Bustard in the foreground, and the number of animals in the background, considering the distance from which the image was taken.
Nannaj - A grassland habitat
Blackbucks - They kept playing hide & seek in the grass
This image appears more of a canvas to me. The rain had just stopped. The ground were wet. The murky brown of the ant-mound, the golden grass, green of the small plants...
Thanks for reminding me of those days. I still remember every image in this post.
